Versace has inaugurated a new boutique in Florence, in Via de ‘Tornabuoni 17, the first in Italy to be designed following the concept created by the archistar Gwenael Nicolas. The contrast between the white and the black of the geometric patterns outside the store characterizes the spaces in which the codes of the maison are reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
The ceiling, decorated with vaults and original visible capitals, is enriched by a golden metal structure with a strong visual impact, which defines and illuminates the boutique. The different areas are marked by portals coated in gold galvanized metal that connect the various rooms. The Curiosity studio took care of the design of the store and some design elements, such as seats upholstered in blue and gold velvet, and some specific materials. The opening of the store will be celebrated tomorrow night with a cocktail party.
