Versace has opened the doors of its new flagship store on New Bond Street in London. With an area of over 300 square meters, the three-storey boutique is located in the heart of the capital’s luxury shopping hub and presents the latest collections of women’s and men’s fashion from the Italian luxury brand. Designed by renowned architect Gwenael Nicolas, the new location features Venus white marble display cabinets, custom eucalyptus hardwood floors, and seating areas decorated with plush carpets and velvet armchairs in shades of blue and gold. The luxury brand’s prêt-à-porter and accessories collections are displayed on counters in white Namibian marble, while the shoes are presented on shelves in blue calcite stone. “I have always loved London because it has always been one step ahead of any other city. It was inclusive many years before inclusivity became something definite, diverse long before this was a topic of conversation, ”said creative director Donatella Versace. “Its subcultures had such a strong authenticity that they have grown into global trends. For a long time London has been the place to look for creativity and new ideas. This is why it has held a special place in my heart for so long. Always looking beyond the rules, always thinking outside the box. ”
